Europeana has just published its Strategic Plan 2011-2015
This is an good moment to look at Europeana's future direction. This week the Comité des Sages released their report about cultural heritage online, The New Renaissance, to the Commission. The report recommends that Europeana ‘should become the central reference point for Europe's online cultural heritage'. The report also says that a clear plan is necessary for the further development of Europeana. Europeana offers this Strategic Plan as the first response to that advice.
