Europeana Publishes First White Paper: Knowledge = Information In Context

Europeana has published its first White Paper: a look at the key role linked data will play in Europeana's development and in helping Europe's citizens make connections between existing knowledge to achieve new cultural and scientific advances.
The White Paper has been written by Prof. Stefan Gradmann - a professor for Library and Information Science at Humboldt University in Berlin, an expert in semantic technology and someone who many of you will know through his work to build Europeana.
In the White Paper, Prof. Gradmann explains how linked data opens up Europeana's potential to be seen as much more than a simple collection of digital objects.
