Initial release of the MINT platform, mint-athena


MINT facilitates the aggregation of rich and divergent cultural heritage metadata. It is employed from the first steps of such workflows, corresponding to the ingestion, mapping and aggregation of metadata records, and proceeds to implement a variety of remediation approaches for the resulting repository.

Spanish Museum Collections available though the portal

2010-03-10 (Collections on line) is the new catalogue on line of the Digital Network of Spanish Museum Collections. It offers, for the first time, a unified access to cultural goods of 61 Spanish museums, regardless of their thematic scope or of the institution they are run by.

The Europeana Public Domain Charter


The Europeana Foundation has published a policy statement, the Public Domain Charter, to highlight the value of public domain content in the knowledge economy. It alerts Europe's museums, libraries, archives and audiovisual collections to the fact that digitisation of Public Domain content does not create new rights in it.
